ABOUT THE EVENT

  • Distance: 21.1km
  • Location: Hackney, East London

The Route: Run down Mare Street through a carnival of sound, pass by the famous Town Hall, before heading through the historic Broadway Market, and taking in Hackney Wick, flush with vibrant street art. Explore green spaces including Haggerston and Downs Parks, cross over twelve canals and rivers, and enjoy a panoramic view of the Olympic Park.

WHY RUN FOR FELIX

400 thousand children in London and 1.4 million adults are food insecure. Meanwhile, in the UK we waste almost 10 million tonnes of food every year. The Felix Project exists to fight this problem.

Every penny raised by you will stop good food from being wasted and get good food to Londoners in need - including children & families, the homeless, the elderly, domestic violence survivors, refugees and more.

YOUR FUNDRAISING TARGET

We're asking our Team Felix runners to have a £300 fundraising target. This means you will:

  • Fund 870 meals for Londoners in real need during a cost-of-living crisis
  • Support over 1000 food banks, schools and community organisations with free food
  • Stop tonnes of good food from being wasted & harming the environment

WHAT WE OFFER

All Felix runners are supported by #TeamFelix and will receive:

  • A free Felix t-shirt
  • Support from our fundraising team to help you hit your target
  • A big group of Felix volunteers cheering you on the day
